Bauhütte 4.0 - a nonprofit association dedicated to promoting construction with renewable raw materials - thrives on its members. Since its founding in 2023, it has grown to 19 members.

 

The network showcases the entire value chain from forest to city and plays a key role in fostering dialogue among practitioners, academia, industry, and policymakers to raise public awareness of the value chain’s interests and to educate the public about building with wood. 

Events and workshops are initiated and organized by members. Past activities have included guided tours and visits to innovative projects, a workshop series funded by the Berlin Senate on the “Seamless Integration of Urban Wood Construction” and the development of joint collaborative projects.
